Where to begin, go see it at the cinema while you can it really is amazing. Like some of Nolan's previous work, Memento springs to mind it really is a different experience the second time watching it. So for me at least you are meant to struggle through it as the plot unfolds.
Speaking of plot i won't give anything away other than the basic premise. Leonardo DiCaprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are "Extractors", they go into peoples dreams and steal (extract) their secrets. That really is all you need to grasp.
Acting is excellent with a well rounded cast of people you would never normally see together. Stand out performances from everyone really.
Directing is visionary and Christopher Nolan also wrote this film. No remake, no franchise, no book it's all him. Really looking forward to seeing it on Bluray, the special effects are mind bending.
When i heard it was going to be Hans Zimmer doing the soundtrack i was disappointed because alot of his work is very samey. When you sit there and watch it the music really carries you through the whole film, it's a really impressive soundtrack. Rarely subtle the booming nature of the action music really gets your heart going. "The dream is collapsing" makes the hairs stand up wherever you have hairs.
If you leave the cinema going wow or what the fuck, give it a few days then go watch it again, it will be an even better experience. I doubt there will be a sequel but if there was i would be first in line.
Go see it NOW!
